Scheduling took longer than I expected, and that stretched the process out even before the actual interview.

Once it finally happened, the whole session lasted close to two hours.

The interview started with a theory-heavy portion covering data structures and hypothetical scenarios, staying from basic into slightly more advanced knowledge. Then the second part shifted into creating algorithms on paper to test my coding knowledge. It wasn’t exactly brutal, but it was mildly difficult overall and really depended on having real experience to draw from. I left thinking I’d done okay, but the format rewarded depth more than speed.
