Navi Software Engineer interview experience

Each round had a mix of coding and managerial questions.

A key part was building a UI component: I was asked to work through a verbal and coding problem to create a UI comment box, like the one you’d see in social platforms. The process felt average difficulty, and by the end I didn’t qualify for the next step.

Honestly, the most noticeable shift was how the managerial questioning blended with implementation—so it wasn’t purely about producing code, but also about how I thought about the task while coding.
