I went through rounds that emphasized deep Java knowledge and core design principles.

The topics that came up centered on OOP concepts, multithreading, collections and their implementation details, plus database understanding. It felt like they wanted more than surface-level familiarity.

I ultimately didn’t receive an offer. The interviews were demanding in a very specific way: I had to be comfortable with both the conceptual “why” and the practical implementation details, and the fit didn’t work out in the end.
