NASA Software Engineer interview experience

The focus was on problem-solving ability and teamwork, so the technical piece wasn’t just about trivia—it was meant to show how I approached problems.

When I moved into the behavioral portion, the conversation stayed aimed at collaboration and how I’d work with others. Overall it felt like a balanced evaluation of how I think and how I communicate.

I ended up with a positive result, and I remember feeling like the process aligned with the role: technical competence plus the human side of working on a team.
