The initial phone interview for the co-op felt laid back, almost like a casual conversation.

At the same time, it was clearly only a preliminary step. During that call, I was told that if I passed the preliminary round, there would be another technical phone interview afterward.

At that point, I was still in the process of finishing everything, so there wasn’t an immediate decision tied to that interview. The tone was comfortable, but it also made the next steps feel uncertain since I was waiting to see how the technical portion would go.
