Nagarro Backend Engineer interview experience

Posted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got pulled into a Nagarro Java backend interview that felt very focused on core Java fundamentals.

After the recruiter stage, I ended up in a technical round where the discussion circled around Java basics rather than anything domain-specific. The questions I remember most were about the difference between an abstract class and an interface, what default methods in interfaces are, and what happens if two interfaces define the same default method.

The round also included a small comparison thread around Java’s ordering concepts, specifically the difference between Comparator and Comparable. Overall, the difficulty felt moderate—more about correctly reasoning through standard Java behavior
