I cleared the technical part and then thought I was close.

I had manager-level interviews scheduled within about a week gap, and after that HR asked me to submit documents. Only after that step did salary discussion get mentioned.

But then the process stalled. I didn’t hear back for about two or three weeks, and when I followed up by email, I got a reply saying the position was on hold and they’d check in later. The frustrating part was that the same position later reopened, and even when I asked HR about it again, I got no meaningful response.

Technically everything went fine on my side, but the communication became unprofessional and unexpected.
