MSCI Backend Engineer interview experience

The first was a long technical interview—about an hour and a half—with a group of three to four employees, and the second was with a top manager.

The interviews themselves didn’t feel overly complicated, but what hurt the experience was the follow-through. After the technical round and the manager conversation, they forgot to notify me about the final result. I waited without clarity, and that uncertainty lasted longer than it should have.

I didn’t get the job, and the missing communication was the main thing I remember.
