MSCI Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

United StatesPosted Apr 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started the process after a recruiter reached out by email, and then it turned into a lot of calls.

It wasn’t just one call—it felt like I kept getting called repeatedly. The overall connection to the interview felt disjointed, and once I got to the office the atmosphere was tense.

There were also practical disruptions that made the experience feel chaotic: there were some scheduling issues and meetings that kept pulling people around, and even the reception and the way interviewers came and went didn’t feel consistently professional. Parking was another problem when I didn’t have enough information in advance. I managed it, but overall the day felt disorganized and stressful.
