My interview felt competitive and pretty hands-on from the start.

They had me share my screen, and I had to write code on a notepad and then present it through the shared view.

The technical questions leaned on C++ fundamentals—things like core language understanding and related basics. It wasn’t just high-level discussion; I was expected to demonstrate I genuinely knew the fundamentals, not just talk about them.

Overall, the difficulty felt average-to-competitive in the moment, but the requirement to work in a screen-sharing setup added extra pressure.
