I was scheduled to interview at the office, showed up at the allotted time, and then waited while everything fell apart.

About fifteen minutes in, I was told the interviewer had double-booked himself and wouldn’t be attending at all.

What surprised me most was how little effort seemed to go into preventing it—no real heads-up beforehand, just a late change while I was already there. It left the whole day feeling wasted, especially for an interview that should’ve been straightforward to coordinate.

Because the interviewer didn’t show, the process didn’t continue and I didn’t get an offer. The main reflection I had afterward was how quickly a process can sour when basic scheduling communication fails.
