My process was so quick that it didn’t feel real.

I got called back extremely fast from my recruiter, and the timeline made it seem almost too smooth—so much so that I wondered if it was legitimate.

The part that actually became a hurdle was the background check vendor. Everything slowed down there, and the experience turned into something genuinely problematic. It wasn’t the interview itself that derailed me; it was the administrative dependency.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Looking back, the mismatch between the lightning-fast recruiting momentum and the messy background-check experience was what stuck with me the most.
