Los Angeles, CAPosted Jun 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a huge amount of interviewing and then hit a major time investment with the challenge.

After multiple rounds, I spent around 30 hours on the take-home work, and it really took over my schedule.

Even after that, I didn’t end up getting the offer on a technicality, which was incredibly deflating after putting in that much effort. The hardest part for me was the sense that the whole process wasn’t structured in a way that reliably identifies the right people for the role—it felt like there were failure points that had little to do with my actual fit. My final takeaway was frustration: I put in a lot of real work, and the finish line didn’t reflect it.
