I had an early assessment that was more skills-and-workflow oriented than a long interview conversation.

First, there was an online SQL test that I took while speaking with an interviewer. After that, I joined a one-hour online meeting with another developer.

In that session, the developer walked through two use cases, with one question attached to each. I answered directly in a shared Google Doc while working through the scenarios.

I didn’t end up getting an offer. The experience felt focused and somewhat intensive because the whole interaction was built around timed problem-solving, and there wasn’t much room for back-and-forth discussion beyond the questions themselves.
