After a recruiter-style HR conversation, I moved into interviews focused more on PMO knowledge and practical fit.

The process felt structured but not intimidating: first the HR round with the usual background questions, then a round with a Business Development manager where they leaned on my understanding of project management work.

The final step was the assessment. I had to work through problems tied to cost analysis and build something like a Gantt chart, including thinking through task dependencies. It was clearly meant to see how I reason through planning and project economics rather than just talk about experience. I left feeling like I’d shown my thinking, but I didn’t end up getting an offer.
