My first conversations were pleasant and fairly straightforward.

HR reached out and I did a short phone screen with general questions about my experience and what I expected. After that, I had a manager interview where we went deeper into my background and I got more context about their projects and customers. It felt like a normal evaluation, and we even discussed moving forward to a final round.

The final step fell apart in a very abrupt way. We organized a Teams interview with another manager for the next day, but no one showed up. I tried contacting HR through email and even by phone, and I didn’t get any explanation or apology.
