Redmond, WAPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process followed the kind of IC2 full-loop structure that starts with a phone screen and then shifts into deeper rounds.

After that initial call, I had three technical rounds and a take-home coding component. The later conversations felt split between design depth and coding fundamentals.

For system design, I was asked at a high level to design a booking system for movie tickets, and then the lower-level round took that same domain and zoomed in to implementing it more granularly—thinking about classes, interfaces, and methods. The coding round was lighter than the design work, with an easy LeetCode-style question that still focused on writing correct, clean code.

Overall it felt structured: system design
