My first step was a casual introduction, then I moved into two or three standard DSA-focused questions.

The format was consistent: they would give me one problem and I’d work through optimizing it in time complexity while we discussed how to improve from an initial approach.

The topics varied—linked lists and binary trees came up, along with graphs and dynamic programming. The difficulty felt average overall, and while I could iterate on solutions and talk through complexity improvements, it didn’t translate into an offer.
