Microsoft Software Engineer interview experience

MediumCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview loop was pretty structured and lasted about four rounds, each one scheduled for roughly 45 minutes.

At the start of the day, the first minutes were mostly behavioral and getting to know my background and what I’d be doing in the role.

The middle of the loop was the coding portion. Every coding question I got was in the LeetCode medium range, and I remember working through those problems under typical interview constraints. Toward the end of the final round, the format shifted into a lighter wrap-up where I had a few minutes to ask questions back to the interviewer.
