Microsoft Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewers were tough and didn’t offer much help or feedback, and the setup felt like they wanted to see how I handled getting stuck rather than guiding me toward the answer.

There was also very little of the usual small talk or more traditional behavioral conversation. Most of the weight was on demonstrating how I worked through technical problems under pressure.

Even though I eventually got an offer, the experience still felt intense because the interview style was more about endurance and problem-solving independence than comfort.
