Microsoft Software Engineer interview experience

The difficulty level matched what I’d expect from a Microsoft-style assessment—challenging enough that it filtered for real problem-solving rather than just surface familiarity.

Once that test cleared, I had a recruiter screen scheduled next, but my process didn’t end with an offer. I didn’t get the role, and the main impression I have is that the bar was set early. The technical test felt like the toughest gate, even before the conversational parts started.
