Microsoft Software Engineer interview experience

I went through three technical interviews focused on data structures and algorithms, and each one involved coding and talking through how I’d implement solutions and think about optimization in a LeetCode-style way.

One of the interviews felt like a more product-oriented technical conversation, where the topics tied into product lifecycle and how I’d think about building and shipping. Another round had an algorithm design and implementation focus, including a medium LeetCode string challenge, followed by a separate coding exercise that used a medium LeetCode arrays problem.
