My first step was an email questionnaire that covered the kind of items that usually show up in a phone screen elsewhere.

After I submitted that, I scheduled a technical interview.

The technical portion was a 45-minute session with the hiring manager, and it was very focused on verification-style topics—UVM code and system Verilog questions. The round felt intense because it wasn’t generic algorithm practice; it was drilling into a specific domain. Even though it was well-aligned to the role, I didn’t get an offer afterward.
