After I submitted my online application and cleared the resume screening stage, I received a HackerRank assessment.

The process stopped there: I completed the assessment, and then I wasn’t moved forward to additional interview rounds.

It felt abrupt mainly because I didn’t get any further steps to compensate for the assessment—just a rejection after finishing it. The whole experience ended up being average difficulty, and the final feeling was mostly disappointment rather than a clear sense of where I went wrong.
