Microsoft Software Engineer interview experience

Early on, I read the problem out loud and clarified how I understood what it was asking, trying to be helpful and aligned. The interviewer cut that off immediately, essentially saying they already knew and didn’t need me to repeat the question.

The rest of the interaction stayed tense in a subtle way, and it made it harder to feel like I was building a shared understanding. Even if the technical challenge itself was manageable, the tone made me more self-conscious than I expected, and that contrast stuck with me long after the call ended.
