Microsoft Software Engineer interview experience

The final technical round was the hardest part for me: I sat for a 45-minute session that contained two coding problems—one that landed as hard and another that was medium. The recruiter during that phase was attentive and kept things moving smoothly.

I didn’t get an offer, but the experience itself stayed fairly professional and “straightforward” rather than chaotic. Even though the technical questions pushed me, I appreciated that the interaction didn’t feel dismissive, and I left thinking I was just a bit short on solving the harder problem under time pressure.
