My experience started with a mass interview on a Saturday with hundreds of candidates, which immediately made the whole thing feel less personal and more like a pipeline.

I was scheduled for the 8am slot but got pushed back, and my actual interview didn’t start until around 10am. To make matters worse, I had to sit through two of the same pre-interview talks while waiting.

After my interview, I ended up in a waiting room for another hour before being released to do a survey about my experience. I remember being irritated by how much time it took compared to how much actual interview time I received. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and the reflection I had was mostly about scheduling—my Saturday morning got consumed by logistics more than by evaluation.
