Meta UX/UI Designer interview experience

In the portfolio part, I presented my previous work and explained the decisions behind my design choices rather than just describing what I’d done.

After that, I did visual problem-solving tasks, which pushed me to think on my feet and communicate my reasoning clearly. The process felt like a fairly standard design evaluation—focused on how I think, how I justify choices, and how I handle ambiguous prompts.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Still, the rounds felt aligned with the role, and I appreciated that they measured actual design reasoning instead of treating my portfolio as a formality.
