Meta Software Engineer interview experience

After that, I had an onsite with people from three different organizations. It felt like the interviewers were trying to cover both coding and how I think across contexts, not just one narrow skill.

Once the onsite was done, I went through team matching, which was its own step after the main interviews. End to end, the process felt like a lot of moving parts—multiple groups, multiple interviewers—and in the end they made an offer. Honestly, the biggest thing I took from it was how much consistency mattered across rounds rather than any single standout interview.
