Meta Software Engineer interview experience

It was about twenty questions focused on Linux and operating-system topics, and I remember it feeling pretty easy. After that, I moved into the screening rounds.

The overall flow felt more straightforward than most big interview loops, but the difficulty still came from the live evaluation that followed. I didn’t end up getting an offer.

What I took away from the experience was that the early prep step wasn’t the challenge—the challenge was how quickly and confidently I could demonstrate the technical reasoning once the real interviews started.
