Menlo Park, CAPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My loop was intense: I went through four rounds with two DSA interviews, one behavioral, and one high-level design round.

I got to “strong hire” in three of them, but the system design round didn’t land the way it needed to, so I had to redo the HLD.

The redo round went okay and I cleared it, but I still didn’t move on to team matching because of a STEM-OPT visa policy. Even though my result was considered valid for about a year, the policy meant I couldn’t be hired through that cycle.

It was a real bummer. I felt like the technical evaluation went in a direction I could control, and then the decision got cut off by something outside the interview itself.
