Meta Software Engineer interview experience

I ran into a rude recruiter, and that overall tone made the process feel hostile rather than professional.

Given how unstable the hiring environment has felt with layoffs, I didn’t really understand why I was being pursued aggressively after that kind of interaction. I decided not to continue based on the experience and on what I’d seen from other perspectives.

I didn’t pursue the process further, and honestly my reflection was that the barrier wasn’t the technical work—it was the way the process was handled from the very beginning.
