Menlo Park, CAPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My Meta loop ended up feeling rough because the live technical interaction itself wasn’t constructive.

I had a tree-based coding question, and when it was over, I realized I hadn’t really been given any useful guidance for how to approach it. The interviewer didn’t seem engaged, and the communication came off condescending, which made the 45-minute session feel heavier than it needed to be.

I wasn’t able to get to a productive rhythm, and that experience was disappointing because it didn’t match the kind of interview atmosphere I expected from Meta. In the end, I was rejected, and what I remember most wasn’t the problem—it was the tone and how disconnected the interviewer felt.
