My interview itself was pleasant and the people seemed genuinely nice, so socially it went well.

The part that threw me off wasn’t my performance—it was the direction they took after I applied.

They started considering placing me into an internship program even though I was applying for a full-time analyst track. That mismatch really changed the energy of the process for me, especially because the pay wasn’t attractive relative to what the full-time role would have required.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, and while I could appreciate the cordial tone of the interviewers, I left frustrated because the process didn’t align with what I’d applied for in the first place.
