I went through a process that felt like it wasn’t moving toward hiring, and it left me feeling misled.

The interviews took place, but I got the clear sense they weren’t interested in selecting anyone.

The overall experience was genuinely bad from start to finish, and it didn’t matter how the interview content went because the lack of intent overshadowed everything else. I didn’t receive an offer.

My reflection was that if a company already knows it won’t hire from a campus or pool, the time spent running interviews without follow-through is exhausting for everyone involved.
