My first step was a short 15-minute call that felt more like an eligibility check than an interview.

We covered whether I was eligible to work in the country, whether I was okay with the location and the format of work, and we discussed starting salaries.

After that, I got an invite to an hour-long video interview with the engineering team. That second stage was clearly focused on whether I could handle the engineering expectations, but the earlier eligibility call was what set the tone.

I didn’t get an offer. Still, the process itself was straightforward and low-pressure, and the structure was easy to understand.
