My interviews followed a four-step structure, with similar difficulty across the earlier and middle rounds.

What changed was how the partner rounds felt: they were much more attentive and they intentionally created more pressure, and it could make the experience feel less comfortable.

The biggest variable for me wasn’t just the format—it was the fit with the person in front of me. If the interaction clicked, I could handle the pressure better. If it didn’t, the same structure felt sharper and harder to navigate.

I didn’t get an offer. Still, the process felt consistent and clearly calibrated by stage, with the partner step being where the evaluation and intensity ramped up most.
