McKinsey & Business Analyst interview experience

Both of my interviewers had heavy accents and spoke much too quickly, and I struggled to understand key parts of what they were asking.

Because of that, I ended up missing information that would have changed how I answered. It wasn’t that I couldn’t think—I just couldn’t reliably catch everything in the moment, and that put me behind.

I didn’t get an offer, and the main reflection I have is how much an interview can hinge on communication clarity rather than just the quality of your preparation.
