McKinsey & Business Analyst interview experience

The interviewer kept pushing me to come up with more and more solutions, so instead of getting to stop once I’d offered a first idea, I had to expand continuously.

It was very difficult because the pattern was designed to test how I handled pressure and sustained problem-solving. I remember hitting a point where I froze and couldn’t generate additional suggestions when asked for more.

I didn’t get an offer. Honestly, that moment of freezing stayed with me because it wasn’t about not understanding the problem—it was about losing momentum under the escalating expectation.
