I was initially approached through a contracting agency and asked if I was interested.

After a couple of weeks, I had an initial interview with a manager at McGraw-Hill. That was followed by a technical interview where I met with all five managers.

The process was simple and compact: recruiter-to-manager quickly, then straight into a broader technical conversation with multiple interviewers. I remember it as more of a concentrated evaluation rather than a long multi-stage pipeline.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the structure was clear enough that I always knew I was moving forward into a technical assessment rather than waiting around for unclear next steps.
