McAfee QA Engineer interview experience

That call focused on basic QA knowledge—how testing worked, what the QA process looked like, my scripting abilities, and some operating system concepts. After about a week, I was asked to come in for a 1:1 interview.

Over roughly four rounds total, each conversation targeted different competencies. They gave me scenarios and asked me to produce test cases, and the later steps also included a few simple puzzles. The whole thing felt like they wanted me to show both QA reasoning and the ability to think clearly under small, unexpected prompts.
