My MathWorks application moved quickly through two timed coding steps.

The first one was an online assessment with two coding questions, and I remember it being formatted as 1OA followed by 1VO.

About two weeks later, I received the next stage: a one-hour virtual interview. Half of that time was made up of a shorter back-and-forth question segment, and the other half was dedicated to coding.

Overall, the experience felt great. The process wasn’t drawn out, and the structure was clear enough that I knew what I was being evaluated on as the rounds progressed. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the execution felt smooth compared to how many pipelines usually drag.
