Mastercard Network Engineer interview experience

The interviewer asked me questions I wasn’t familiar with, and the pacing and selection of questions felt unpredictable—like there wasn’t a set list or structured progression. It was hard to tell what standard I was being measured against because the questions seemed to come on the fly.

I didn’t get an offer. The rejection itself wasn’t the only frustrating part; it was the sense that the interview wasn’t anchored to a consistent format, which made it feel unfairly hard to respond confidently.
