I joined an online Zoom interview with two people, and the whole thing felt more intense than I expected.

Right away I got hit with a lot of technical questions, and they weren’t aligned with what I thought the process would be like.

The session included a circuit-based case study, and I had to spend time really reading and interpreting what was being asked before I could even answer. Looking back, the biggest problem wasn’t just difficulty—it was that I needed a lot more prep on the specific technical material than I had assumed going in.

The process felt genuinely not easy, and I left with the sense that I would’ve performed better if I’d prepared more specifically for that circuit case study
