I had an interview session that lasted about two hours, and it quickly became clear they expected lots of technical depth.

The interviewer asked a broad set of technical questions, including very fundamental ones.

I was able to support my thinking with drawings on paper and using a whiteboard, which helped because some of the answers depended on visualizing the relationships. That format made it easier to show the reasoning instead of just reciting information.

The process ended with an offer. Overall, it felt challenging, but at least the structure was clear: if I could reason through the fundamentals and communicate them with diagrams, I could keep up with the pace.
