Macquarie Group Software Engineer interview experience

I felt I did well in the first two steps, and the questions felt manageable enough that I was gaining momentum.

But the next round was where I started to feel like I should have prepared differently or executed better. It wasn’t that I completely fell apart, but my performance wasn’t as strong as the earlier stages, and that ended up being the deciding factor.

I didn’t receive an offer. My reflection was that the process was structured and fairly transparent in its progression, but the technical challenge stage became the swing point where my earlier progress didn’t carry through.
