I applied through LinkedIn and the role ended up being difficult for me in terms of preparation.

The work I was asked to do centered on designing parts of a mobile app using Kotlin.

Because it sounded similar to a take-home style coding/project task, I couldn’t really figure out what to focus on ahead of time—there wasn’t a clear, narrow topic to study for.

I didn’t receive an offer. Looking back, the hardest part wasn’t just the challenge itself, it was the lack of clarity around what “prep” even meant for the specific task.
