San Francisco, CAPosted Jun 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My Lyft Data Analyst process felt fairly straightforward.

It included a SQL assessment and a case study round where I had to work through a problem, turn it into business insights, and clearly explain my analytical reasoning as I went.

There was also a behavioral interview round mixed into the loop. The whole thing gave me the sense that they wanted both technical competence and the ability to communicate the “why” behind the analysis, not just the result.
