I was approached through LinkedIn and felt like the interview was set up around Python, at least from the way it was framed to me.

Once the interview started, though, it shifted into deep questions about Angular. Later the interviewer moved it toward Python, but the tone turned sour—there was an edge when I couldn’t produce the expected answers.

When I realized I wasn’t going to be able to answer everything they wanted, I told them I didn’t know those answers. The whole experience felt tense and a bit dismissive rather than collaborative. I didn’t receive an offer, and walking away I felt like the problem wasn’t just my knowledge—it was the way the interview transitioned topics and the attitude during the gaps.
