I kept applying, and the pattern was rough from the start: I never made it past the first recruiter interview.

The process would be canceled after that, with reasons that felt tied to the salary being too low or the role not matching what I was actually looking for.

I spent several months trying to apply again and again, but the first HR stage didn’t turn into anything more. It wasn’t just one single setback—the repeated cancellations made the process feel repetitive and stalled.

There was no offer. What I remember most is the persistent feeling that even when I got through the recruiter conversation, the pipeline didn’t progress in a meaningful way and I never got a clear path forward.
